Here you are, and here I am. Life happens to everyone. It means that unexpected and unwanted changes do happen. It may be very difficult to navigate difficult emotions while disoriented in the turmoil, but it is important to recognize that you are not alone. At the very center of your being is your spirit – your soul. The essence of who you are at the most fundamental level is a divine spark of light. This part of you is in constant communication with the natural world as well as the spiritual world. You are always guided and supported by spirit even if it seems invisible, inconceivable or ineffective.

As a shaman, the process of change is my native language. The answers of how to surrender to the process of change are readily abundant in nature. My work is helping other people to adapt, learn ways of coping and discovering the answers to questions of change. If you are unsure of where to go from here, whatever that here means to you today, please contact me to set up a free consultation to determine what type of shamanic healing could be of best service to you.

These principles of change serve as a reminder of your true nature:

  1. The essence of life is optimism. Despite unfavorable conditions, life persists in the most unlikely of places (heat vents on ocean floor, the rim of a volcano, even the crack of a busy sidewalk). The impetus of life is to sustain life. Keep trying; don’t give up even when it is difficult.
  2. An external stressor is only as painful as you believe it to be. Is the stress and anxiety truly warranted? Can you change your way of thinking? The mind is conditioned by your life experiences, which is subjective and ever-changing. Re-evaluated your cognitive dissonance. I recommend talk therapy with a qualified professional to explore these concerns.
  3. Surrender to what is. Recite the first stanza of the serenity prayer. It is important to take action and recognize your ability to make choices. Accepting responsibility for your own life empowers you to take direct action that will improve the quality of your life beyond present circumstances.
